Welcome

By founding Interior Image Group in 2004, Patti Tritschler started bringing her unique conceptual interior designs to reality — building on more than 20 years in retail sales management and a knack for sales and customer service.

Patti's dynamic creative vision made the company a natural fit for some of the biggest names in the hospitality, retail and healthcare industries, including clients such as Trump, Harrah's, Barden Companies, Penn Gaming, Grand Victoria Casino, Hyatt Corporation, and Holiday Inn. As president, her day-to-day responsibilities include new business development, maintaining relationships with existing clientele, managing the company's growth and interacting with suppliers. Priding herself on having assembled a talented, versatile team of interior and graphic designers, Patti still gets a thrill out of what led her to start the business in the first place: working closely with her staff and clients to solve problems, adhere to stringent deadlines, and ensure absolute satisfaction.

—Meridian Medical Associates

"You offered superior service every moment we worked together on this project and we are most appreciative of her professional and creative efforts as well as everyone on your team. Thank you."

—North Star Mohican Casino Resort

"Grand Victoria Casino contracted its first design and procurement of FF&E project with Interior Image Group three years ago. Our property wanted to transform an existing storage area on the casino floor into a an elegant high-limit gaming room that blended with our existing casino, and to complete it within two months.

"IIG produced a design scheme that captivated our property, and executed the purchasing, delivery and installation with perfection. They met our critical timeline while ensuring that the design intent remain intact.

"We have engaged IIG on several other projects since then. Their team of designers and support staff provide quality work along with a strong commitment to client satisfaction."

—Brett Terwilliger, Director of Engineering

"Majestic Star Casino began working with Interior Image Group last year. I enjoyed our initial conversations because they listened to me describe the scope of our project and then offered several creative alternatives. They offered various options and their projected costs before finalizing the design, and helped us coordinate vendor bids and manage the process through construction. The project is spectacular, it was completed on time and on budget—and I could not be more pleased with the results."

—Larry Buck, Senior Vice President & General Manager

"I have worked with the design team at Interior Image Group for the past five years on various projects, most recently for their design expertise and procurement of $1.2 million of FF&E for renovation of both of our casinos. IIG served as the project manager, communicating between the general contractor, architectural firm and owner.

"IIG provided timely and concise information to all members of the team, which was critical due to gaming requirements and the different property teams involved in the renovation. The project was completed on time and on budget, and our guests are enjoying two fully renovated gaming environments.

"I will strongly recommend using IIG for future projects within Majestic Star Casino and Hotel property."

—James LeFresne, Vice President Project Development

"In healthcare, furniture and signage plays a key role in the scope of our construction projects. We are thankful to work with a company that is very professional and strives to meet the needs of our physicians, patients, visitors and employees.

"Interior Image Group has always been very generous supporting the mission the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services. For example, a few years ago they introduced a solid surface to Saint Margaret Mercy known as Meganite, which is 40% less expensive than Corian. We tested the product in our in-house lab and it withheld stains from mustard and iodine, and we have been installing it ever since.

"I have received many compliments on our newly remodeled Emergency Department and Family Birthing Center, Hammond Campus and Surgery Waiting Room at the Dyer Campus. It has been a great pleasure working with IIG over the past five years, and I look forward to doing so this year and in the future."

—Nora L. Olsch, Supervisor Plant Operations & Interior Design

"Over the past two years, Interior Image Group has provided NorthShore Health Centers with design services and furnishings for a new two-story medical facility and a renovated dental facility, and has provided project management services with move and purchase of furniture at several of our offices. Everyone who sees our sites is extremely impressed and asks who did the design and colors.

"Their kindness and friendly manner make us feel as though all we have to do is tell them the problem, and in no time they have resolved it without missing a delivery date and at an affordable price. There are no hidden costs. Everything is up front and honest.

"We have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars for their work, and it has been worth every penny. You can be assured they will be doing our next project. I highly recommend IIG to anyone looking for help in decorating and designing a new building or project, large or small. The outcomes are always better than expected."

—Jan Wilson, CEO

Hospitality and Gaming

North Star Mohican Casino Resort FF&E Procurement

IIG was hired as a purchasing agent to handle more than $1.2 million in FF&E for a new construction hotel with 97 guest rooms, lobby area, coffee shop, VIP Lounge and Conference Rooms. With an onsite IIG project manager throughout the three-week installation, the team executed purchase orders per specifications, reviewed order acknowledgements, scheduled and tracked deliveries, set up installation according to construction timeline, and created and coordinated the installation timeline for FF&E and soft furnishings. Per client request, IIG also specified and purchased items outside of the original scope: custom bedding, linens, artwork, guest room amenities and accessories.

Majestic Star Casino I & II Interior Renovation

These interior renovations were the casinos' first makeover in over 10 years. Interior finish selections included wall covering, paint, carpet, millwork laminate, and slot chair reupholstery. The result was the creation of two distinct designs within more than 120,000 square feet of gaming area.

The project also included procurement, delivery and installation of all FF&E. IIG coordinated round-the-clock installation with the client — providing a seamless installation without interrupting gaming operations.

Majestic Star Casino Wings-N-Things

Wings-N-Things has proved to be one of Majestic Star Casino's most successful venues, with quick return on investment.

The goal was to transform an underutilized space into a new food venue and profit center, with just two weeks to come up with a design concept! The space needed to be energetic and bold, while meshing with their existing finishes — accomplished with the red, orange and black palette accentuated with stainless steel.

IIG created the concept — including the logo, menus, and environmental wall graphics flowing seamlessly with the interiors — as well as the floor plan and specifications. By teaming up with an architectural and construction team, IIG was able to ensure that the design intent was kept intact by monitoring all specifications and verifying all construction. Weekly site visits ensured budget and timeline adherence and compliance with design documents.

Majestic Star Casino

IIG designed the interiors for a 4,000-square-foot casino lounge and dining room catering to the casino's select customers. The design highlighted custom bar and millwork designs, tactile and vibrant finishes, comfortable and durable furniture, eye-catching accessories, artwork, and window treatments. IIG's involvement began in the early stages of programming and ran through interior construction document creation, project management, and construction administration, as well as handling furniture and accessories procurement.

Proposed Lobby

Proposed Lobby is set in a metropolitan city shopping district. The space needed to feel airy and luxurious.

Design challenges included creating an intimate space with high ceilings and using bold color to blend sophistication, drama and whimsy.

The design solution incorporated a number of dimensions, including low soffits, and flooring with lineal elements to aid guest wayfinding and accentuate other lineal elements. Tall windows are softened by long sheers and a whimsical dropped cornice. The lounge area is defined as a carpeted area with tree twigs creating a focal point and privacy, while the reception desk is a soft curve. The color palette of browns and yellow are accented by soft oranges and the oversized custom artwork created by IIG creates drama. The final significant element is lighting — combining different light levels of ambient lighting, task lighting, daylight, and accent lighting to create warmth and add depth.

Resorts Casino & Hotel Employee Dining Room

Resorts East Chicago prides itself in being one of the top employers in the area. When the employee dining room was in need of a facelift, management capitalized on the opportunity to reward the hard work and dedication of their team members.

The challenge included keeping most of the existing furniture and using graphics to create a distinct feel in the space. In response, the design team at IIG incorporated vibrant colors, porcelain tile with a metallic sheen, warm lighting, artwork, and environmental graphics that brought the dining room to life.

The project management team was present during all stages of construction and installation and was able to hear first-hand the employees' appreciation of their new space. The finished product achieved exactly as anticipated: a renewed excitement for employee dining within the Resort's team.

Healthcare

Rios & Lapinski Plastic Surgery & Dermatological Institute

Drs. Rios and Lapinski desired a space that echoed how state-of-the-art plastic surgery and dermatology treatments enhance the way you look and feel.

IIG was contracted with an architectural team to create an office concept that would accommodate exam rooms for dermatology and plastic surgery; define a "wow" entrance that directs guests to where they need to go; and use high-end, low maintenance finishes. The final consideration was incorporating the client's artwork collection.

Per their request, IIG presented the client with two very distinct palettes and concepts. The chosen full interiors package included a focal-point front desk area that accentuated the brand/logo; selection of all floor/wall/millwork finishes; creation of all finish plans and details/elevations; and an FF&E package. The end result—a sophisticated medical office that makes patients feel comfortable.

Meridian Medical Associates Joliet, IL Waiting Area Renovation

The main Joliet office renovation included designing for a Reception and Waiting Area, Concierge Desk, Children's Area, Business Office, and Public Restrooms of a private healthcare facility. The overall design concept incorporated a natural scheme that invites patients into an environment like none other. By creating a warm color palette of interior finish selections, smart space planning, uninterrupted project communication, and furniture specifications and procurement, the space was transformed into a one of a kind, modern healthcare facility.

Meridian Medical Associates New Lenox, IL Private Medical Suite Reception and Exam Room

For this pediatrics office, IIG incorporated the client's unique brand into the interior design of the space. The child-friendly environment included themed exam rooms with custom-designed wall graphics and wall toys to occupy children while they wait to be seen. By incorporating quick-ship products and furniture selections that maintained the project's design aesthetic, and with a representative onsite at all critical times, IIG was able to execute a cohesive design and meet the client's deadline and budget.

Restaurant

CNH Corporation

CNH Corporation's employee cafeteria was in desperate need of a remodel — something that would provide the diverse workforce with a place to enjoy lunch or grab a coffee…a retreat.

Food service concepts require dealing with multiple vendors to obtain all the products and expertise necessary; IIG facilitated the process by assembling a team of architects and kitchen consultants, then serving as a liaison between client and project team.

The White Rhino Bar & Grill

The White Rhino Bar & Grill's interiors needed to please everyone, all of the time: casual lunch, an after-work drink, a late-night dinner, and the evening crowd.

One of the first goals was to work with the White Rhino theme and image to create a logo. This theme — translated in the interior finishes with a "muddied" concrete floor, grassland green finishes, and rustic stone — communicates a landscape similar to where a rhinoceros would live. A stained black bar creates a dramatic backdrop, and a brick red color is used as an accent throughout the space.

IIG worked in conjunction with the owner to value engineer the original concept, providing alternatives to furniture and finishes that allowed them to create the same look for less.

Winning Ideas

Armstrong recently hosted its first-ever Ideas 2 Reality (i2r) Design Competition—and Interior Image Group is proud to announce winning the Ideas award in the Commercial Ceiling and Wall category. IIG's entry, the Destinations café incorporates an indoor dining patio, a grab-and-go counter, a host station, and a café/bar. The design challenge was to renovate an existing café and deli and combine them into a cohesive design. Armstrong Infusions Panels were incorporated into the ceiling of the indoor patio area to add a unique and interesting design element, and to give a better sense of proportion.
